A Trojan Tale
Etimesgut City Theatre - Ankara, Turkey
About the Work
An original contemporary theatre work, A Trojan Tale draws inspiration from the myth of the Trojan Women and its many retellings across history. Through Korhan Başaran’s distinctive interdisciplinary approach, where theatre, movement, choreography, music, text, and visual language converge, the work reimagines these ancient voices and stories through his own contemporary artistic lens—bridging the suffering of antiquity with the realities of our time.
A stage-led projection system developed for a contemporary interpretation of the Troy narrative. The visual language focused on erosion, memory fragments and transitions between mythic and present-time states.
